The context

Onboarding is the very first contact between a bank and its customer: account opening, minor/adult journeys, product subscriptions such as the Livret A. Every friction in that funnel costs customers, but every shortcut costs compliance. All of it has to fit existing internal systems and external partners, under constant regulatory pressure (KYC, GDPR).

My mission

Steer these digital journeys end to end: frame the need with business teams, translate regulation into concrete requirements, coordinate technical teams and external partners, and secure production over time.

What I put in place

  • Framing workshops and functional specifications (adult, minor, Livret A journeys)
  • Design and grooming of the Jira backlog with business, technical and partner teams
  • Integration of 2 external partnerships (API managers, webservices) ensuring interoperability with internal systems
  • Steering committees (COPIL/CODEL) with internal and external stakeholders
  • Design and execution of acceptance test scenarios to guarantee journey quality
  • Reinforced RUN supervision to stabilise production
  • Raising team awareness of data governance and compliance (KYC, GDPR)

The results

  • A project budget in the order of one million euros steered on critical journeys
  • Fewer than 3 production incidents per year thanks to RUN supervision
  • 2 external partners integrated with no disruption to the existing system
  • KYC/GDPR-compliant journeys delivered at an Agile cadence
