3,000 – 5,000

The context
A heterogeneous portfolio to run at once: a demand management application used intensively by a Service Centre, an IoT project supervising buildings in a nuclear environment, therefore under strong safety constraints, and an IT estate of several thousand workstations. Three worlds, three rhythms, internal teams and contractors.
My mission
Steer these projects in parallel, structure the teams' Agile practices, coordinate internal staff and contractors, and optimise the underlying business processes.
What I put in place
- Steering the AUDE demand management application for the Service Centre
- Running the Testo IoT project: supervision of sensitive buildings (archiving, machine rooms) in a nuclear environment
- Managing development teams of 2 to 10 people and steering contractors
- Managing and maintaining an IT estate of 3,000 to 5,000 workstations
- Running Agile and technical workshops to solve complex problems
- Optimising and redesigning business processes (mapping)
- Change management across all steered projects
The results
- A demand management application absorbing ~20,000 tickets per year
- An operational IoT setup for monitoring sensitive buildings
- Teams of 2 to 10 people structured around Agile practices
- An estate of 3,000 to 5,000 workstations kept operational
